Brief info
Since 2015, Rene Moller Rosendal has been a partner in the independent waste consulting company Danish Waste Solutions ApS, offering expert services in the management of waste and resources, with particular emphasis on environmental aspects. He has years of experience with consultancy, management and performance of R&D projects for industry, waste management companies, and public authorities. His work is based on technical and applied science coupled with up-to-date knowledge of
the technical and regulatory development in Denmark and worldwide.
Since 2003, Rene has been working mainly with issues concerning the landfilling of waste and contaminated soil, the reuse of construction and demolition waste, and the environmental problems associated with this. He has a great knowledge of the municipal waste sector and the daily operation of modern landfills, and knows how to optimize them in order to minimize the impacts on the surroundings and the environment as much as possible. He is a member of the ISWA STC committee and has served as Vice Chair of the ISWA Working Group on Landfills since 2018.
Mr. Rosendal was awarded a Master of Science in Geography and Technological and Socio-Economic Planning from the University of Roskilde in 2003.
